Mobile Day!

Emilio said we had a great day at opening and we get to take home our mobiles today.
Dylan said at the end of the day we played "mystery trash" again and we painted in art.
Anusha said today was a very good day!  Tomorrow is the first day of October and today was a really good day.
Garett said we had our spelling tests today.
Sarah said her Grandma is coming today and it was a fun day!
Alex said today we finished our artwork and we had to make our art work balanced with tropical fish. Alex also said that his mobile is not balanced today.
Madison said her Grandma is picking her up today and it was the best day ever and we had a good day at lunch.
Ashlynn said Price shared his book about animals today and his favorite page was birds of prey.
Bryce said we all got to tell what animal we would like to be if were an animal.
Emilio said we played Jenga to balance for the end of our Balancing and Weighing unit.
Alex said today the PreK students sang Brown Bear, Brown Bear  in opening.
Henry said today is his dad's birthday and he is turning 50.
Madison said tomorrow is her dad's birthday.
Phillip said today was a very very fun day!!!

It was a great day of 2nd grade

Bryce said we had a great day at opening and we went to reading groups.
Garett said at the end of the day we played mystery trash where the teacher picks a piece of trash and whoever picks it up gets a piece of candy.
Garrick said today was a great day at lunch.
Anusha said had a really good day!

The Best Day of the Year!

Dylan said we were using our equal arm balance to figure out which canister had 6 marbles in it and it was the blue one.
James said we had a good day at opening and we had a good day in math.
Alex said at opening, Mrs. Wycoff's class sang a song in Spanish and we got to join them.
Anusha said we all went to different second grade classrooms and some of us stayed in our classroom to learn about math.
Taylor said today was our last day of balancing and weighing in science and it was really hard and fun.
Sarah said it was an awesome day.
Bryce said we had reading tests in the computer lab today.
Mahiya said this was a really fun day.
Krishna said today Price shared his new glasses.
Garrick said today was a great day!

Mya said we have different teachers for math groups and reading groups and we got to have recess.
Ashlynn said we did STAR reading tests today.

The Great Day!

Alex said price shared his sister's Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. Today was Price's first day as star of the week. At opening Mr. Gregory played a fun song.
James said we started our math and reading groups today and we had fun in math.
Dylan said we used our equal arm balance comparing ten cubes to different foods.
Bryce said we had a good day at opening, we got our spelling list and we got new jobs!
Mya said we are going to have a math group in a different class.
Ashlynn said Bayden lost his tooth and it fell onto his desk.
Anusha said today was a very exquisite day!
Mahiya said it was a lovely day and we did math and science and we are making books about nonfiction features.

The First Day of Autumn

Maci said today we weighed food by using our equal-arm balance
Mahiya said today was awesome and we did science and math and we put food in our balance.
Alex said Mya brought our year book covers down to the office and we're going to see who wins!
Price said it was the first day of fall and we had lots of fun today.
Osker said we had our spelling tests today.
Dylan said in science, we weighed food with cubes to see how many cubes it was.
Garett said today we had a math test.
Taylor said today we had a spelling test and instead of in the computer lab, it was in the classroom.
Krishna said today we learned about coins in math.
Bryce said it was an awesome day at opening!
Bayden said today Henry brought a smashed bell for show and tell.
Ashlynn said I tried to draw a horse today.
Garrick said today was so fun I almost went wild.
Anusha said today was fun and at the end of the day I figured out that it is the first day of autumn

A Fun Day of Science!

Bryce said we had a good day at opening, we had a good day in science, we had fun in math!
Dylan said we described different foods in science today.
Garrick said today was so fun I almost exploded.
Anusha said today we made nonfiction books and we cut out pictures from magazines and we glued them.
Mahiya said we had a great day and we did science and we did math that's the end.

Henry said his mom brought some chocolate chip muffins for snack today.

Alex said today we had Garett's birthday party at the end of school and we ate icecream cupcakes.

A Good Day

Price said we got new objects for balancing.
Anusha said today was flashlight Friday so we got to use our flashlights for SSR.
Emilio said we stayed in for the whole day because it was raining.
Dylan said we got new objects and we weighed them with our equal-arm balance.
Bryce said we had a great day at opening! We did the Humpty Dump and the 5th graders sang a song.
Garett said we selected our new star of the week and it was Henry.
Madison said the pre-Kers came for opening today.
Taylor said since today is Friday, we got to do star of the week and it was Henry.
Addisyn said we got to make a yearbook cover to enter for the competition.

The seventeenth success

Price said we had lots of fun today and we had science and math.
Dylan said we weighed a cup, a ball, a block and a spoon.
Anusha said we had SSR (silent reading) and we wrote in our science journals.
Garett said today we compared four objects and saw which were the heaviest and which were the lightest.
Alex said in science we had a lot of fun comparing objects and we learned sign language in opening.
Maci said we had a lot of fun today.
Mya said we had indoor recess because it was raining.
Bryce said we had a great day at opening.

Comparing things

Alex said in science we worked with our partners and each had three objects and compared them.
Dylan said we played a game in math called collect fifty cents.
Anusha said we played a math game and had lots of fun.

Balancing day

Taylor said today we had reading groups.
Dylan said we used and equal-arm balance in science.
Anusha said we got partners when we were balancing and we also got to weight things.
Krishna said we got to balance buckets.
Alex said in science, we experimented with balancing by putting objects in the buckets and he had the best    day in second grade.
Mahiya said she had a really fun day and she made flash cards in math.
Phillip said it was a fun day.
Garrick said today was the best day of second grade!
Bayden said today we wrote in our memory books about something that makes us cry.
Garett said today was a good day! 

Best Balancing Day Two

Alex said today was our last day to finish our mobiles and we have a new star of the week.
Garett said we got new jobs today.
Anusha said everybody did thier best on the mobiles and now the room looks spectacular.
Mahiya said we did near doubles in math and it was really fun and the weather is really nice outside.
Emilio said we got our green go homework folders.
Taylor said our new star of the week is Bayden and we got to interview him.
Maci said everyone had fun today.
Krishna said we hung our mobiles on the ceiling today.
Bryce said we had a great day at opening!

Best Balancing

Taylor said today we did our first tornado drill and we sat under desks.
Anusha said we watched a small show on the smartboard about balancing
Dylan said we figured out how to balance different weight by moving the fulcrum
Mya said we got to do three kinds of ways for balancing. One, 15 on one side and one on the other.
Maci said we talked about our science project for tomorrow.
Bryce said we did math, we did doubles.
Emilio said we had reading buddies today.
Ashlynn said we did things with the fulcrum in science.
Osker said we balanced our beams on the same sides by using different weight on the same side.
Bayden said we had fun today!
Alex said we gave our book to our reading buddies today.
Mahiya said tomorrow we will make mobiles.
Mrs. Beers said Ms. Taplin helped today because Mrs. Pittman was gone. She was really nice!

The Twelfth day of school

Mahiya said she got smarter today and we did lots and lots of math.
Bryce said we learned how to make a teeter totter and balance with ten cubes.
Anusha said we had a lot of fun!
James said we the dougie at opening this morning.
Bayden said he made up a new game outside at recess today.
Dylan said we read a story about a girl who is good at gymnastics.
Maci said we did lots of fun things.
Mya said we tried to balance five or six cubes on one beam balance in science.
Alex said we finished making our biographies for our reading buddies.
Ashlynn said we had the best day of second grade!
Garett said we did science! Krishna said we had fun in science.

Taylor said today in Opening we learned sign language.  In math we got a choice on what game to play: Collect 25 cents, war, or turn over ten.
Bryce said we got new jobs.
Anusha said we got buddies in science.
Dylan said we made structures that balance in science.
Alex said we're writing nonfiction stories about our reading buddies.
James said we learned a new math game.
Mya said we got a big book of homework.
Osker said we got to walk around and see everyone else's structures.
Price said we played Turn Over Ten.

The Best Day of Second Grade!

Bryce said we had our lockdown drill today.
Dylan said we had our spelling test today.
Taylor said today we got to balance our paper butterflies on an unsharpened pencil.
Krishna said when we did our lockdown drill we got to sit in our cubbies.
Anusha said we had an interesting day.
Phillip said we got to do a lot of fun stuff. This day was awesome!

Bayden said we got to be reading buddies to my sister's class.
